The awards keep on coming for Pats QB Tom Brady. Today he took home the AP Offensive Player of the Year, beating out teammate and fellow record breaker, WR Randy Moss. Brady received 35 1/2 votes while Moss had 12 1/2. Wes Welker garnered one vote and Brett Favre also received one vote.

That's right...the Big 3! And I'm not talking about Bird, McHale and Parish, or Pierce, Garnett and Allen for that matter. Along with the story, ESPN notes that many recent NFL MVPs and Offensive Players of the Year have not gone on to win the Super Bowl. I always find TO offensive and annoying, but the NFL has this award in a positive sense in best offensive performer. Even if Tom Brady has already won the MVP, I think he deserves the Offensive Player of the Year Award as well. Otherwise my choices would be Randy Moss or running back Brian Westbrook from the Eagles .
