According to the Kansas City Star , Branden Albert has a hyperextended elbow and will likely be out when the Chiefs visit Carolina next Sunday. I’d guess that he’ll be back after the bye week, the same week Brodie Croyle is scheduled back. Until then, we’ll get a good look at ...

But as even further evidence that God must have been looking out for the Chiefs today, the news out of Arrowhead tonight is most definitely good news. Albert has a hyper-extended elbow, which is much, much better then the initial diagnosis of a dislocated elbow. He should be out for next week’s game in Carolina, but the Chiefs have their bye week after that game, so I expect him to be back about three weeks from now.
