I don't know what Tom Coughlin's thoughts were on Brandon Jacobs entering this season, but I do know that certain members of the media were suggesting that perhaps the Giants should start to wean Jacobs from being the team's primary featured back.
Why in God's name you'd want to take carries away from a guy who averaged 5 yards per carry last season is beyond me, even though ...
