Roy in Need of Surgey

Brandon Roy has had an excellent start to his NBA career. He won the “Rookie of the Year” award in 2006 and enjoyed his first All-Star game last season. Even though everything has been fine so far, Roy has expressed having problems with his left knee from time to time. Unfortunately, this time around, he is in need of surgery to repair the damages.

Brandon Roy: Surgery???

Not the greatest of news for Blazer fans or Brandon Roy keeper league owners. Per the team’s official site : The Portland Trail Blazers announced today that guard Brandon Roy will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery on Thursday to repair a tear in the meniscus of his left knee. A Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) taken Tuesday revealed the tear in the meniscus.
