As I speculated in early blogs, the Brewers' deal with Ryan Braun is worth $45 million. The Brewers are calling it an eight-year deal, including 2008. It's actually a seven-year extension because he was signed for this year for $455,000. We'll see if he got that money reworked as well. The man, the myth, the legend that is Ryan Braun has officially been locked up by the Beermakers for a cool $45 million for 8 years, including the current season. I'm assuming they are going to restructure his current year payment, so essentially we got him for 5.625 Million a year. This is just a great deal for everyone.
