According to Carroll Rogers of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (click here for the article), the Atlanta Braves have indeed demoted Jeff Francoeur down to Double A. The opted to send him there, as opposed to Triple A, so “he can work with manager Phillip Wellman, with whom he’s had a close relationship in the past”.
