According to the Associated Press, Tom is a little sore after having season ending surgery on his elbow. Dr. James Andrews repaired a torn flexor tendon in Glavine’s left elbow. According to the good doctor the tendon hadn’t pulled away from the bone like the Braves doctors had thought. With that said, it’s still a long road of recovery and Tom isn’t sure whether he’ll continue to pitch in 2009 or not.
