Francoeur optioned to AA Mississippi
MVN RSS — Well it looks as though the Braves Front Office couldn’t take it any more, and re-assigned Frenchy to Double A Mississippi to work on his swing, and get his head on straight. Francoeur Sent to AA
MLB FLEECE FACTOR: Providing MLB rumors and deciding who gets FLEECED. — In a surprise move, the Atlanta Braves sent outfielder Jeff Francoeur to the minors to try and get himself back to theplayer the organization had seen over the last few seasons. Braves’ GM Frank Wren said this was one of the toughest decisions he’s ever had to make. Not a bad move here. Maybe a little less stress and some tinkering with his swing for a while will get Francoeur back into form. The Braves really need his bat in the second half if they’re to get back into the N.L. ...
