The Earthquakes have offered Brazilian midfielder Francisco Lima a contract and expect to sign him in time to begin playing after the July 15 FIFA transfer window. Lima, 37, tried out with San Jose last week and Coach Frank Yallop and General Manager John Doyle liked what they saw.
