  I like the emphasis on speeding up a pitcher's tempo. Too many major league pitchers do know how to build forward momentum into a long stride. 

  Mark Prior could make some positive changes to his mechanics which could reduce his risk of injury. What we do not know is what does he do with his practice time. I understand that he has used the "towel drill" extensively.

... This is something not to be missed: The Hardball Times have an article breaking down Prior's motion from 2001 and now with video. They go frame by frame and show you the differences between then and now.
