... "Uninspiring pick here at No. 4. So much so that I don't really feel like making a video clip of his motion. On the positive side, I like that he's aggressive (I like max effort guys), and his arm action is pretty good. With a high 3/4 slot, he throws the ball downhill very well and his velocity is excellent. The problem is that his lower body action and slowish momentum (tempo) don't really help him to throw hard, so he's more of an "arm-thrower." Couple that with an abrupt-ish finish and it makes me question how long he'll last. With plenty of better talent available, I don't get this pick here. I want upside at No. 4 I guess. Rush him and rush him quickly because a guy like this probably doesn't have as many bullets left as someone with better mechanics." -Carlos Gomez

He's really impressed with Price and he likes Moustakas after seeing his game swings. After he comes down harsh on Moskos, he has this to say:

Just wanted to pass along a link where Carlos Gomez of the Hardball Times breaks down the tape on the top ten draft picks .  So, if you ' d like to see video of our new future third baseman taking a hack, check it out. Observations: From what this guy says, it ' s probably good that the Cubs didn ' t take the catcher Weiters.  I don ' t want any draft pick that leaks. Vitters apparently has a " pretty " swing from the right side.  The other guy I remember having a reputation for a pretty right handed swing was Dave Kelton.  So, naturally, I ' m excited! He does, however, say he would have taken Vitters over Moustakas, so that ' s good.  Personally, I ' m thrilled we didn ' t take Moustakas because his name makes me think of Mufasa which makes me thing of The Lion King which makes me think of that scene where Mufasa dies and that always makes me cry. Hang on, I just need a minute here.
