    I can't believe this. The Yankees always get what they want at the deadline. Should the Red Sox stand pat? Or should they jump the gun and go for Mark Teixeira?

UPDATE: Will Carroll is now confirming, Xavier Nady and Damaso Marte have been traded to….The New York Yankees. From what I’ve heard the return is Russ Ohrlendoff and three prospects: OF Jose Tabata, P George Kontos, P Phil Coke. Tabata has monster power. According to 1050 ESPN Radio the Yankees have traded Ross Ohlendoft + prospects for Xavier Nady and Damaso Marte. I'm not sure what other prospects are involved, Phil Coke is probably involved, he was pulled after striking out the side in the first tonight in Trenton. This seems like a great move for the Yanks. I will let you know more as soon I as I do. Baseball Prospectus is also reporting the news. UPDATE: Rotoworld is reporting that Jose Tabata is also in the deal. ...
