The wookie, Jon Rauch, has been traded from the Washington Nationals to the Arizona Diamondbacks. Oh, thank goodness. As long as he's out of the division, I don't care. Wonderful.

The Washington Post (click here for the post) is reporting that the Nationals have signed SS Christian Guzman to a contract extension. The extension is for 2 years and $16 million. That certainly should quiet down the trade rumors surrounding him. He’s very undervalued and is useful as a MI in deeper formats.

Clearly, Our Number 15 and Bonifacio are Our Double Play Combination for the future--beginning in the year 2009. (By the way--I like the Guzman signing--Our Washington Nationals have zero shortstop prospects near ready for The Majors--"The Guz" coming back is a no brainer--even at $8 Million per season). ...
