I just finished my morning radio segment on the "D List" on ESPN540 and we stumbled upon some startling numbers. I mentioned to the guys that the Brewers seem to go as first baseman Prince Fielder goes. So, Drew Olson checked out some numbers via Baseball Reference and they were very telling. Of course, I would assume you can find similar numbers for every hitter, and for most pitchers, for that matter, because you usually win when the opposing pitcher is going bad...and that's when hitters will get their hits as well. Trying to find a correlation for something that obvious seems to be a monumental waste of time. ...
