Yes, he’s only 22, but the author doesn't care what Baseball America says. He says guy’s a bum, and the Reds should trade him. [link]

First I heard of him being a jerk.  But he's only 22.  Hopefully Baker and some of the vets in Cincy will give him some guidance.  My big concern is his perforance in Louisville.  He was getting better, not worse.  If he fails again in Cincy, then it might do some serious damage to his confidence.

Supposedly he was really snarky to both teammates and the media during his call up last season.

One thing you've got to give Dusty credit for though, is his ability to communicate without insulting his players.  I think his attitude will change.

I'm with you on his Louisville performance.  The author is right when he says Maloney or Thompson would be better choices.

I'd love to see Thompson get the call before he knows what hit him -- after a very brief stint in AAA.

The problem is that the guy's so good that he thinks he's the man.  Since every player needs a certain amount of ego to get that good, it's probably alright in some sense, but this is the time in his career when he needs to learn.
