The Browns did not site his lack of speed as a reason for his dismissal, but something leads me to believe that if you cannot out-run a policeman donning full regalia, that you won’t be given the opportunity to chase down wide receivers any time in the near future.  Yes, the fact that said foot chase started in the parking lot of the police station stacked the chips against Wright from the get-go, but let’s not kid ourselves.
