As bad as it was that the Red Sox took so long to open their arms to Bill Buckner, it doesn't hold a candle to Moises Alou and his statements about the infamous Bartman play in the 2003 NLCS. If Alou's statements that the ball was uncatchable were truly honest, he would have said them much sooner. [link]
