It's hard to argue against the notion that Tampa Bay has a penchant for collecting quarterbacks. The Bucs, did, after all, add a seventh quarterback to their roster on Sunday when they used their fifth-round selection to draft San Diego signal caller Josh Johnson. The Bucs like what Johnson, who tossed 43 touchdowns and just one interception as a senior, did in San Diego's version of the West ...

BUCS HAVE SEVEN QUARTERBACKS
ProFootballTalk.com —
The quarterback-loving Tampa Bay Buccaneers have seven — count ‘em — seven quarterbacks on the roster, after adding Josh Johnson in round five on Sunday. Our friends at Pewter Report report that the Bucs will take only five of them to training camp . Presumably, no more than three will be on the active roster, so four of the quarterbacks currently in Tampa won’t be in Tampa come September. The other six are Jeff Garcia, Brian Griese, Bruce Gradkowski, Luke McCown, Chris Simms, and Jake Plummer. Plummer retired a year ago, and has shown no inclination of coming back. Simms most ...
Bucs Will Bring 5 QB’s To Camp
MVN Outsider —
According to pewterreport.com, the Buccaneers will bring five quarterbacks to Training Camp in late July.

Bucs Draft An O-Lineman In The Third
bucstats.com 4/27/2008 — The Bucs used the #83 pick on Jeremy Zuttah , a tackle/guard from Rutgers. Depending on what you read, he projects just about anywhere on the offensive line, but most places have him listed as a guard, which is a position that the Bucs have pretty well covered. Are they planning on kicking Arron Sears out to tackle and moving Zuttah in at guard? Or will Zuttah compete with Donald Penn and ...

Bucs expect instant returns from Jackson
myespn.go.com 4/27/2008 — Posted by ESPN.com's Pat Yasinskas Just finished listening to Bucs coach Jon Gruden talk about second-round pick Dexter Jackson. Gruden definitely sounds like he believes the Appalachian State wide receiver can be a starter someday. Gruden spent some time talking about how Jackson can learn from veteran Joey Galloway and that's an indication that the Bucs might want to bring the rookie along ...
