BULLS TRADE ON THE HORIZON???

A trade involving Marion makes no sense for the Bulls.  Marion plays the small forward spot which is already occupied by Deng.  This rumor appears to have no legs unless Paxson has gone insane.

I'm thinking they would run Deng at the 3 and Marion at the 4 for a more uptempo type offense.  But then again, with the Bulls, you never know what they are going to do or are thinking, so let's see.

Hopefully they can do something about this log jam at G though.  I don't want to see DRose on the bench.

Deng is more likely  ot play the 4 than Marion, since Deng is 6-9 and Marion is 6-7.  However, Gooden is the starter there.  Regardless, this trade has been shot down more than a week ago.

You are right that this trade is old news.  But about Marion being a 4, I don't think that is true.  Deng's unfortunately too small, too soft to be a 4 in the League.  His rebounding skills are not solid at all.  The suns actually used Marion at the 4 a lot in their run and gun offense.  When they would go with their smaller lineup, Marion played a lot of 4 there.  He has great rebounding abilities, and is a great defender as well.
