Pasadena City College product Yura Movsisyan was voted MLS Player of the Week after scoring the game-winning goal in the final minute of regulation in Real Salt Lake's Western Conference semifinal against Chivas USA.
Chicago's Jon Busch was voted MLS Goalkeeper of the Year.

The first MLS awards are: - Goalkeeper of the year: Jon Busch, Chicago - Fair play: Michael Parkhurst, New England New England won the fair play team award, which is based on disciplinary points. Parkhurst, who fouls about as often as I score a goal in a pickup game, clearly threw off the average there. I'm 2-for-2 in my predictions and 1-for-2 in my voting, though I had Parkhurst second.
