Byrd Soars to Complete Game; Garko Goes Off

Paul Byrd pitched a complete game for the Cleveland Indians and the offense pestered Cy Young contender Roy Halladay into 10 hits, the biggest bug being Ryan Garko, who got the start for the first time after being benched for not running out a ground ball. Garko had two RBI and battled tough in all his at-bats against Doc and the Toronto Blue Jays.
