... The Arizona Republic is reporting that Eric Byrnes will be shut down for the season. This may be a good thing for the Diamondbacks, as Byrnes and his .209 average were not exactly an asset over the past couple of months. Unfortunately, the team is still out the $500,000 grand they paid him per RBI this year, and needs a replacement outfielder. Preferably one with some power who drives in runs, and maybe even an offensive player who could have represented the team in the All-star game. ...
