CALGARY Now IN, TORONTO is OUT, and The COLUMBUS Bandwagon

photo

Last night's play indicated to the On Goal Analysis (OGA) staff that CALGARY is IN the 2009 Stanley Cup Playoffs, TORONTO is OUT and the Columbus Blue Jackets are on the edge of elimination at OGA's rating of Dusting Off Clubs.

CALGARY met a bit more than the minimum requirement to secure a Playoff berth on a strong performance in the Game 31-40 period.

TORONTO met minimum requirements for elimination following the loss to a hot FLORIDA team.

The BLUE JACKETS finished the Game 31-40 period at OGA's tripwire short of elimination playing rather well despite a ton of injuries.

Thes rankings mean OGA has called 13 teams IN the playoffs, 6 OUT, and 2 at the tripwire short of elimination, and the last 9 playing In The Curve or about average.

OGA also knows of another team that is currently listed as IN The Curve that will be called OUT after their 40th (next) game. See what On Goal Analysis knows at www.ongoalanalysis.com and/or send your comments to shotongoal@ongoalanalysis.com ...
