There was a lot of hoopla around Andrew Robinson's magazine cover on Athlon Sports Eastern Mountain Sport's Athletics weekly journal cover today, and I was curious what the hell that magazine was since I have never heard of it. After seeing a few tid bits about it at Axe's and TNIAAM's blog I signed up for the magazine, and cancelled my "Espen" The Magazine subscription. This is one of those times when the news just really takes the wind out of your sails. Just months short of seeing her son's story immortalized in theaters around the country, Marie Fleming, the mother of Ernie Davis, has passed away. According to her nephew, she died after a bad fall.
