Red Sox pitcher David Aardsma (groin) and shortstop Julio Lugo (quad tear) were examined by Dr. Peter Asnis Monday in Boston. Originally, both were scheduled to have MRIs, but that exam was not performed. Aardsma had x-rays taken, which were negative.
