The Yankees’ weekend sweep of the Baltimore Orioles provides a glimmer of hope for the Yankees’ fading playoff aspirations. The Yankees are 5 games out of the wild card with 32 to play, and start a critical three-game series with Boston Tuesday. I will believe the Yankees have a shot at the playoffs if — and only if — they sweep all three games.
