Cardinals unwilling to deal Boldin, willing to talk contract
Add Arizona's Anquan Boldin to the list of disgruntled wide receivers that have requested a trade. Boldin recently met with Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt and informed him that he would like to be traded. The Cardinals told Boldin they were unwilling to trade him, but would consider exploring the possibility of a new contract with him. Boldin is scheduled to make $2.5 million this season, ...

Anquan Boldin No Longer Wants to Be Larry Fitzgerald's Teammate
FanHouse — Filed under: AZ Cardinals, NFL RumorsI may have been a little hasty in my assessment of Anquan Boldin's decorous approach to his contract situation, one which he has decidedly outplayed. Of course, I made the mistake of actually believing him when he told the Arizona Republic: "I can go home and sleep good at night, staying out of the business side of it and just concentrating on what I need to do." Insomnia, I suspect, has changed things because Boldin wants out of the Valley of the Sun. Boldin recently met with Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt and informed him that he would like to be traded. The Cardinals told Boldin they were ...

I much prefer Anquan Boldin's whiny behavior to Chad Johnson's
Shutdown Corner — The percentage of NFL wide receivers who are actually happy seems to be dwindling by the moment. Adding the recently-disgruntled Anquan Boldin to the list, that number seems like it's down around 8% or so. As much as I wonder why it's always receivers that are wearing the grumpy pants, I really can't blame Boldin on this one. He's been a fantastic player for the Cardinals, as well as a model citizen. He's performed as well as his counterpart, Larry Fitzgerald, and yet, he's currently due to watch Fitzgerald make almost four times ...

Boldin wants to fly
mysportsrumors.com 4/23/2008 — According to NFL Network’s Adam Schefter, Arizona Cardinals’ wide receiver Anquan Boldin wants to fly. No Eagles fans, he doesn’t mean fly like an Eagle (well yet), he just wants to get the hell out of Arizona. Can’t say I blame him after Larry Fitzgerald’s contract extension, with his talent he probably doesn’t want to play second fiddle to anyone.

Cardinals could choose cornerback, running back in draftBoston.com -- Football news 4/22/2008
For only the second time since 1995, the Arizona Cardinals enter draft weekend without a top 10 pick. That's a sign that the Cardinals, who have had one winning season since moving to the desert in 1988, are moving in the right direction.
