The Cardinals backed their intensifying commitment to finding and signing prospects in Latin America by wading into high-dollar bonuses with three free-agent acquisitions. The Cardinals signed six players when the market opened Wednesday, and three of them received more in bonuses than the Cardinals had ever spent before.
