(Palm Beach, Fla., October 13, 2009) – 2009 Ducks manager Gary Carter was today named manager of the Palm Beach Atlantic University Sailfish. The Sailfish compete on the NCAA Division II level, and are a Christian liberal arts college founded in 1968. According to the Long Island Ducks website, former Met Gary Carter will manage the NCAA Division II Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish for the 2010 season.
This past season, Carter managed the Ducks to a 74-66 finish and lost its playoff series to the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs.
