Shaq Headed to Cleveland
Bust a Bucket - A Portland Trail Blazers Blog —
More trade news breaking from Adrian Wojnarowski who says the Cleveland Cavaliers just landed Shaquille O'Neal. Shaq hasn't posted it on Twitter or anything yet but this is what Woj had to say:
The Cleveland Cavaliers have reached an agreement in principle to acquire Phoenix Suns center Shaquille O'Neal, a league source told Yahoo! Sports late Thursday night.
Cleveland will send Ben Wallace, Sasha Pavlovic, the 46th pick in Thursday's draft and cash to the Suns for O'Neal.
Come on KP, it's your turn!
The Big Shaqtus now the Big Shaqalier
Rip City Project | A Portland Trailblazers blog —
Looks like the oft-rumored Suns/Cavaliers deal has finally been agreed to, with Shaq headed to the Valley of the LeBrons in exchange for magic beans Ben Wallace, Sasha Pavlovic, tomorrow’s 46th pick and, surprise surprise (this is Phoenix after all)…cash considerations.
This deal has been talked about for months and for most of today we’ve heard it was any minute now. Apparently Stephen A. Smith broke the news and Yahoo! is running with it, so there’s little reason to doubt the legitimacy of the deal. There’s also little reason to analyze the deal. The Cavaliers just gave LeBron a great big presence in ...
Break’d News: The Suns Are Stupid
Major League Jerk —
Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports is reporting that the Suns have decided to throw in the towel for the 2009-2010 season already by trading Shaq to the Cavs for the corpse of Ben Wallace, Sasha Pavlovic and the 46th pick in what many argue is the weakest draft in NBA history.
Congrats to the Suns owner Robert Sarver for completely destroying the one Phoenix franchise I actually love. Thanks. Thanks.
Shaq Traded to the Cavs
King James Gospel | A Cleveland Cavs Blog —
Shaq is coming to Cleveland! This might be the best news since drafting LeBron James 1st overall. ESPN and Yahoo are both reporting that this deal is basically done. The Cavs will send Ben Wallace, Sasha Pavlovic, the 46th pick overall, and cash considerations to the Suns for Shaq. This is a huge day for the Cavs and should help LeBron land his first NBA title. Supposedly the only thing that is holding this up is both Owners approval.
The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Phoenix Suns are nearing agreement on a blockbuster trade that would send Shaquille O’Neal to Cleveland to team with LeBron James, ...

And that's exactly the case with the talk of Shaquille O'Neal going to the Cavaliers to play alongside LeBron James. Yahoo! is reporting that it's a done deal, and that the Suns will receive Ben Wallace, Sasha Pavlovic, the 46th pick in Thursday's draft, and of course, some cash on the side. Shaquille O'Neal is headed to Cleveland
Cleveland Cavaliers —
It has been reported that the Phoenix Suns and Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed in principle to a deal that would send Shaquille O'Neal to the Cavs in exchange for Ben Wallace and Sasha Pavlovic. While we had touched on this then-potential trade's ramifications earlier, we all had quickly discarded it as a magical "what if." But it's actually happening, and don't let the naysayers fool you, this IS a big deal for the Cavs. Shaq isn't the same player of recent dominance, and he is clearly slowing down - but at 37 years old he was able to be awarded to the Third Team All-NBA this past season. While he isn't the same force he used to be, he is a ...

Rondo's Agent is Pissed Off
RedsArmy.com - The Voice Of Celtics Fans —
Rajon Rondo hasn't responsed to the criticism Danny Ainge threw his way yesterday, but his agent clearly isn't pleased: “I am just surprised that Danny is speaking, even if he considers it
constructively, in a public setting [about Rondo],’’ agent Bill Duffy
said in a phone interview. “I don’t think that it’s appropriate to say
that about one of your top players. Even if it’s spoken constructively,
I don’t think it should be done in public. I don’t think [Ainge] would
like it if [Celtics managing partner] Wyc [Grousbeck] was talking about
him in public. Duffy said Rondo learned about Ainge’s interview ...
The Big Ego: Moving to Cleveland
Basketbawful —
"...for Wallace and Pavlovic. Don't laugh, I think it could work." I had plans for today. More Worsties. Maybe a post about fighting in pickup basketball. But I scrapped those plans when I heard about the Shaq-to-Cleveland trade. The deal might help Cleveland bust through their championship wall. Meanwhile, it means nothing short of utter and absolute destruction for the Phoenix Suns. In the short term, anyway. Look, kiddies, the fact is this: Times have changed. The United States economy is sucking so hard that it could choke down Oliver Miller AND the World's Fattest Man in one huge ...
