Since 1900 only 13 players have hit four homers in a game. Today is the anniversary of the incomparable Willie Mays’ great game on April 30, 1961, which gives us the opportunity to celebrate all those who achieved the feat The first of the modern era to go four deep was the great Lou Gehrig on June 3, 1932.
