Celt's go down in flames 85-77 What a terrible performance. Everything was awful. Shooting, rebounding, turnovers. I guess the Celtics solved the defensive issues, but that doesn't do much for you when you shoot 38% and have 20 turnovers. Here's a link to the carnage ...I mean boxscore if anyone is really interested. (Hat tip to Mean Gerald Green for the headline, I'm too depressed to be creative) Share this article! Comments (3) ...

Drought

... Merde. I miss the days when we didn't lose to the Western Conference. The Green just suffered their third straight L, and unlike the previous two, there was plenty not to like about tonight's game against Phoenix. While the Denver loss was too ridiculous to get upset about, and the GS defeat too jubilant a game to be downtrodden over, tonight's contest was ugly and seemingly without merit. It is never a shame to lose to the Suns, still maybe the best team in the league, but the Celtics made a poor show of it tonight. The offense was abject, laden with Ray and PP's ...

Game Recap: Suns Slam Celtics 85-77 With a New Energy

... zone. Runner up: It was between Grant Hill or Shaq, but I have to give it to Shaq. His presence set the tone, and his 14 rebounds continued to send the message to the league: This team will no longer take prisoners. For the Celts: Most of the C's let their butterfingers, bad shooting, and their surprise at the Suns' play take them out of their game. But I was impressed with Rajon Rondo. I think it is time to admit that the trade of Rondo was a big goof. Boxscore     ESPN.com Recap ...

Suns overpower Celtics

This is the type of game that the Suns got Shaquille O'Neal for. The grinders. How would the Suns respond when someone tried to muck it up and push them around with Shaq in the lineup? We got a decent idea Friday night. The Suns broke out early and matched the Celtics intensity throughout in a 85-77 victory. ...

Game 54 Recap: Blazers 92, Sonics 88

This was really kind of a Stink-a-thon from both sides tonight. Neither side shot over 39% yet somehow neither team played what you'd call sterling defense. There was a fair amount of one-on-one ball unless the ball-handlers found gaping lanes to pass through (which happened a fair amount). The two stars--Durant and Roy--had good games but both shot poorly and neither one really dominated.
