So close no matter how far Couldn’t be much more from the heart Forever trusting who we are And nothing else matters It does not matter how ugly game 6 was. It doesn’t matter that the Cavs shot 33% from the field. Ten assists for the game? Unimportant. LeBron’s 8 turnovers? They don’t carry over into Sunday. Cleveland 88, Boston 77: Just another agonizingly slow-paced, low-scoring Eastern Conference basketball game last night in Cleveland. Needless to say I spent more time watching the Cubs pound out a win against the Padres. There's a pretty good chance I would have dozed off otherwise. LeBron James had 21 points to lead all scorers (yes, that led all scorers) and added 13 assists as the Cavs ...Brian posted 5/17/2008 from www.emptythebench.com

I watched the whole Game 6 thing from the pre-game to the final seconds, and like many Celtics fans, were furious. As sloppy as it was, the Celtics would have won that game if the officials didn’t mail it in for the LeBrons - I really believe that now. To keep things in perspective for the disgruntled Celtics fans, you have to give an allowance for some playoff dysfunctionality for a team ...Amar283 posted 5/18/2008 from mvn.com
Sixteen years after the last time they met in Boston for Game 7 of the Eastern Conference semifinals, the Cavaliers and Celtics meet again with a trip to the NBA's Final Four on the line. If only Marv Albert and the NBA on NBC were still around to hype up what has been the perfect throwback to how the NBA used to be played. One thing hasn't changed, though: it's Game 7. Leave the excuses at home.fastbreakblog posted 5/6/2008 from www.fastbreakblog.com
