Celtics First to 30 Wins Links3
The Celtics reached the 30-win plateau Friday night, outlasting the New Jersey Nets 86-77 behind 20 points and 11 rebounds from Kevin Garnett. With the loss, the Nets are now 18-18 on the season and 0-3 against Boston. For awhile, it looked like the Celtics would fall victim to another team they should beat, but instead used a strong fourth-quarter surge (outscoring the Nets 23-9) to get the win. [link]
