Celtics Put Away Hawks to Advance to Second Round
The Boston Celtics turned back the pesky Atlanta Hawks with a 99-65 victory Sunday in Game 7 of their playoff series, earning a second-round matchup with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Boston came out hungry, aggressive, and with purpose, as the Celts tried to dispose of any notion that maybe they weren't as good as their 66-16 regular season record. Maybe the pounding they gave the Hawks in Game 7 Sunday afternoon would do just that. Pierce scored 22, and KG added 18 points and 11 rebounds, as Boston destroyed Atlanta 99-65.
