As the the dust begins to settle on another March in the desert, it appears the Friars roster is coming together and at this point it will not include their stud prospect Headley.

newgroom422 that stinks. I just drafted headley in a keeper league after checking ESPN.com's depth chart which lists him as the starting LF. Oh well, at least it's a keeper league. I can't imagine Edmonds, Giles, Hairston being people who can block him for long

Padres reporter, Corey Brock, recently posted some of his spring notes. He talks about Chase Headley having a bat that is Major League ready, but a glove that isn’t quite there yet. There are many indications that he’ll head to Triple-A Portland to begin the season. Friar Forum seems to agree with that sentiment. Matt Antonelli will join him.
