Barry Bonds has overcome so much — why shouldn’t he be able to overcome this? Name someone you know who was convicted of perjury. Besides Scooter Libby. Do Americans really hate Bonds as much as they hate Bush and the War in Iraq? We’ll see. My best bet is that’s all the prosecution has. The safest bet is that nothing that comes of this changes anybody's minds.
