The New York Yankees' Alex Rodriguez, with his record $275 million contract, is hitting .313, eight points higher than the Twins' Justin Morneau. Rodriguez has 116 hits in 100 games, 21 fewer hits than Morneau, who has played in 119 games. Rodriguez has 27 home runs, nine more than Morneau, and 71 runs batted in, 21 fewer than Morneau.
