The Carolina Panthers have signed yet another big guard, adding former St. Louis lineman Milford Brown, who is 6-foot-5 and 330 pounds. Brown, who spent 2007 with the Rams after four years with Houston and one with Arizona, will be added to a growing group at the position. Contract terms were not announced. Instead of having offensive coordinator Jeff Davidson institute a zone blocking scheme that fits the linemen on the roster, the Panthers are rebuilding the offensive line from the ground up and signing any super-sized guard they can find -- Keydrick Vincent (325 lb.), Toniu Fonoti (350 lb.), and now Milford Brown (330 lb.).
