After a long night of traveling to the left coast, the last person the Red Sox wanted to see was Dan Haren and his miniscule ERA. Haren was strong for 7 2/3 innings but it was a walk-off homerun from Eric Chavez that won the game for the A’s in the bottom of the 11th, as the A’s won 5-4. [link]
