They certainly would be.  Something tells me no one would run on them with Colon and Zambrano anchoring the D-Line.  Zambrano would definitely fit in on the Ravens.

Not unless they take the team from another market. Pro sports is so bloated, we don't need another new franchise sucking money from the fan. Just Say No?

Agreed.  I haven't heard any talk about the NFL looking to expand.  But there are definitely some cities (Minneapolis, Buffalo, etc.) that seem to be in danger of losing their team.  LA just figured out the financing for their new stadium, so you new the NFL will try to get back there as quickly as humanly possible.

Just do not send another team to LA. They do not care about football. Chi town would be a great choice for then next 2 team town.

Until LA isn't one of the top TV markets, the NFL will always get a stiffy thinking about putting a team back there.  I don't disagree with you at all -- lots of far too casual support out there.  But the money is just too much for the NFL not go after wholeheartedly.

The TV market is huge, but the Football TV market is not huge. Football is way way way down the list of things to do or watch in LA, for those people.

True...it's a lot like Miami in that sense.  Still, it's so big that even if a far lesser percentage of people watch than in, say, Buffalo or Minneapolis, the total quanity is still greater.  And that's the main thing for advertisers.  The NFL knows it can make more ad $$$ if LA is in the equation.
