Kicker Jay Feely, cut by the Miami Dolphins two weeks ago, has been signed by the Chiefs to a one-year contract. No other terms were immediately available. Feely was at practice Monday in Kansas City.

The roster currently sits at 81 players. It will be trimmed to 75 (76 with our international player) by tomorrow afternoon.

After witnessing the debacle in Miami I came to a conclusion. The Chiefs have too many young players to be competitive. There is just not enough experience to know how to win. With the addition of kicker Jay Feely the Chiefs made the right decision. Kicker Connar Barth and Nick Novak were just simply not going to cut it they both missed field goals the last two weeks from 48 yards out.
