Desperate for some sort of blog item that didn't involve the word "hard-fought," I came to Ashburn today hoping Rock had unveiled more t-shirt designs. "Only one for the year," he said. "T-shirts are expensive." But hey, ... [link]

I, For One, Welcome Our New Portis Overlord

... portis - when the redskins were making a playoff push in 2005, i attributed their success to clinton portis dressing up in silly costumes for his weekly press conferences. thankfully, after a long hiatus, he's back to his old tricks. i guess when you run for 196 yards the game before, you can do whatever you want. i don't think i can add anything that either hasn't been said or anything that would be better than reading either of these two articles so i won't try. but let's just pretend i did and tell everyone how funny it was. ...

"I taught these boys how to dance," was the gist. A lot of it was unintelligible, and involved jerky dance-like demonstrations and third person referrals to "Clinton Portis," but hey, we'll take it. More on this breaking news later.
