Larry Brooks at the New York Post is reporting that the Rangers have named Chris Drury captain. Scott Gomez and Markus Naslund will serve as alternate captains. Update: Sam Weinman has something on his blog from the press call, including comments from Drury. It’s a move that everyone’s been expecting since the Rangers parted ways with Jagr this summer.
