Chris Redman to open as Falcons' starting QB

Chris Redman will get the starting nod this saturday in the Falcons first pre-season game. Redman will be getting the start over rookie QB Matt Ryan. More than likely Ryan will be first off the bench. DJ Shockley and Joey Harrington, the other 2 QB's on the roster, will be battling for the third spot. Head Coach Mike Smith wants all four QB's to see action in the game against the Jaguars. [link]
