... things perfect. We've had terrible offense, a pitcher taking a ball of his grill, the inevitable Mark Prior injury, and now a catcher hitting a ball into his own face. The best part is the awful pitch Barrett had no business swinging at in the first place. The Padres have been awful and undisciplined at the plate all year and that pitch was a foot inside when he swung at that 95 mph fastball. What does this all mean? I don't know. We suck. And, no, I will not discuss Chris Snyder's injury.
