Chris Stewart called up to back up Molina
Published 4/28/2008 by Ashish Skaria at Pending Pinstripes
... Chad Jennings over at his blog has the story. Chris Stewart is a 26 year old catcher the Yankees signed to fill in the void Moeller left when he was called up back in early April. In 15 games for SWB, Stewart batted to a .300 average, amassing 12 hits (3 doubles), 15 total bases, and 7 walks in that span. He also had 3 RBI in that time as well.
