The News: Chris Young and the Arizona Diamondbacks came to terms on a deal that will keep him patrolling centerfield for the Dbacks through the year 2013 with a team option for 2014. It is believed to be worth $28 Million dollars and is similar to the six year, $31 million deal the Rockies stud short stop Troy Tulowitzki received earlier this year. The Take: [link]

Talented youngster Chris Young and the Arizona Diamondbacks have finalized a $28 million, five-year contract extension, keeping the 24-year-old center fielder in the desert through the 2013 season.
