Ryan Church is already in the clubhouse, and the educated speculation is he may be activated for today’s game. With southpaw Andy Pettitte going for the Yankees, it’s conceivable Church doesn’t start. But he’d be a better bench option than, say, Trot Nixon, whom he could displace. And, let’s face it, once you get to the Yankees’ bullpen, there are no lefties other than newly promoted Kei Igawa. [link]
