Ryan Church, who suffered a concussion in a collision with Marlon Anderson during spring training, suffered another one tonight. Mets VP Tony Bernazard said the concussion was mild and Church didn’t lose consciousness, but he will be taken to Piedmont Hospital. Trying to break up a game-ending double play in the Mets’ nightcap loss to the Braves, Church took a jolt to the head from shortstop Yunel Escobar’s right knee.
